Let me tell you a little bit about the people behind this website. First, let me say that we are a mother/daughter team who have yearned for a way to supplement our income by operating an online store.  Since we both love books, we decided to open an online bookstore; however, we quickly realized that competition for online presence to sell a variety of books was pretty stiff.  So we had to re-evaluate! 

At that time, we decided to delve into a topic we both love so much - POLITICS!  Politics effects us in many ways and political books have all the components of a best seller - drama, scandal, entertainment, sex, corruption and the list goes on.  Politics has it all.  So we re-organized our site and came up with a list of political and history books and biographies to start with that we either would like to read or have already read.  With this site we would like to start a dialogue with our readers about how politics and the current climate of it is affecting their lives. In the coming months we will introduce blogs, weekly broadcasts, and reviews from our readers.  Let's face it, we enjoy the reviews from major newspapers and magazines, but we're more interested in what YOU recommend and what YOU got out of what you read.
